my zune keeps freezing. and when i go to my pictures it doesnt show me a preview and it keeps stalling, i have the 80gb, and i’ve only had it for a couple months, whats wrong?

Melody, have you tried resetting your Zune? If not, try this and let me know if it works for you:

With your Zune turned on, press and hold the back (left) button and the “Up” button on the control pad at the same time. Your player will reset itself.

i have the old fat zune.the resetting thing never works for me…..i tried it like 50 times but it didnt work.what should i do?

Microsoft can’t call that a “Users Guide”. It’s just a glorified Sales Handout. How about Microsoft creating a User’s Guide for someone who already OWNS a Zune. I don’t need pretty pictures and sales jargon. I need answers to what the icons on the screen mean, and troubleshooting tips for when it acts up.

i agree zune needs to make a better guide. when i first got the thing i looked for an instruction manual and i was clueless. i spent 3 hours trying to understand the software…even with online help sites. however these sites also should be in the users guide. also why can i not drag and drop with my 30gb zune? it says it should work but it doesn’t. i hate the zune right now because i have no idea of it’s full potential. honestly….come on…i dont even know what a podcast is..i just found out 2 or 3 minutes ago games and time can be on the zune…..i want this but i don’t understand how to do it. i’m bored with it. angry with it. and wish somebody could just show me everything. i mean everything you can do with this device. whats the sense of owning it w/o knowing what it does…..

Yeah, I’ve noticed that the Zune manual has almost 3/4 of the book dedicated to advertising products that I already have or don’t intend to use. It would have been nice if they had skipped the self-promo crap and just used up the pages on something important - using the device.

I went back thorugh and counted the pages. Out of 40 pages, 16 were pics, 3 ads, 12 of WHAT it would do, 4 for the covers and/or legal stuff, 4 for questionable junk and 1 whole page that explains how to set up a wireless sync. The people at the Zune development are as useless as another hole in the head.

Zune sucks. they took the fun out of xmas. How about a place to learn? Its just a money game. Pay to learn.
I'm returning it unless i find the boo of instructions today
